Fire permits may be restricted. Safe campfires are allowed in campgrounds and backcountry or random camping areas, but this level is a warning they may be restricted if the situation does not improve.

Council has recently approved a Parcel Consolidation Program, in place until September 2025. The program is intended to incentivize landowners to consolidate small adjoining parcels of land into one larger parcel. In doing so, a rebate will be offered to offset the costs.
